I have been challenged by one of my blogging friends, The Eclectic Contrarian to do the 3.2.1 Quote Me Challenge. Thank you for nominating me!
The Rules Of This Challenge Are As Follows:
• Thank the Selector
• Post 2 quotes for the dedicated topic of the day
• Select 3 bloggers to take part in ‘3.2.1 Quote Me!’
• And give them a topic/word
Note: Although this is the topic for today there is no specific deadline to it, meaning you can answer when you want to.

My challenge word was ‘Embrace.’
I love both of these quotes and they also relate to my life! We should all embrace ourselves. Go on and love yourself for who you are; not what others want you to be! We should embrace the unknown and live in the moment.
The word embrace plays a huge role in my life. For instance, I am the only one who has curly hair out of my family members. There was a time when I would straighten my hair every single day because I felt like only a few people had hair like mine, plus I didn’t know how to make my curly hair look good because it was always a frizzy mess at the time! I also wanted to have my sister’s straight hair when I was little and I somehow convinced myself that by brushing out my hair several times will make it become straight – umm I think not!
Years ago, I stopped straightening my hair and started embracing my curls! It is a feature that I love about myself and it is what makes me unique from everyone else. Having curly hair has definitely taught me that it is okay to be different and we shouldn’t try to be someone else because God made us just the way we are. I challenge you to embrace your inner-self and whatever it is you are trying to change about yourself, stop doing it for at least a month. When you start to embrace it, your mindset will change! It is just like how I always would straighten my curly hair, but I love my curls now. You do have to get used to the change and make it a habit, but it is so worth it!
If you are curious about what I looked like with straight hair, here is a rare picture of my hair straight and I don’t even own a straightener anymore!

I’m going to choose…
Your word is ‘Original.’
I can’t wait to see everyone’s quotes.

If you haven’t seen it already, I am giving away a signed copy of my book, Kylie’s Corner, along with a bookmark I have designed! You have until November 30, 2018, to enter. The guidelines on how to enter the giveaway are through that link. I can’t wait to see who will win and whoever it may be, I hope Kylie’s Corner blesses them!

Great message! And, very true! This is going along with something I’ve been thinking about since this morning. I might post it later.
Btw, curly hair! 👍🏻
