There are so many people in this world who need peace this Christmas because they are grieving.
God, grant us peace.
Right now, someone may be wishing that their loved one in Heaven could celebrate Christmas with them.
Someone will be spending their first Christmas without their loved one and they don’t know what to do because everything feels different without them there. This person feels lost.
Someone out there doesn’t have a safe and warm home to go to this Christmas. Outside is basically their home and they feel all alone.
Someone doesn’t have any family to celebrate with during this special Season because everyone is either in Heaven or has lost connections with them. This person feels unlovable.
Someone goes hungry daily because they aren’t able to afford food, so this person hardly ever has a typical Christmas Feast.
Someone is barely making it financially this Christmas, but this family can’t afford the latest toys/technology for their children.
Children start to wonder why they only got socks or clothes for Christmas, while their friends got something that they have been wanting for a long time just because everyone else has one.
Children don’t know that their Mom or Dad can’t afford those things for them, even though their parents go out of their way to make sure they have the best life possible.
There are children out there who have two separate Christmases because their parents are divorced, so the children think they get twice as many presents than other children whose parents are together. Sometimes it is not always the case.
Some children don’t even receive one present and they still feel grateful for everything they have.
However, other children may receive many presents and they manage to take everything they have for granted.
We also can’t forget about the military families. A child may have a parent overseas for Christmas who are fighting for our country, while everyone in the United States is able to have a peaceful Christmas because of them. The military makes sacrifices for us, even if it means that they have to be away from their family.
As you can see, there are so many people out in the world who truly need peace during this time of year. Honestly, it makes my heart so sad. My heart breaks for all of those people and families I described above. I wish that everyone in the entire world could have the Christmas they have always dreamt about without having to worry about these obstacles.
I pray for whoever is reading this right now and everyone in the world who needs peace, I pray that God blesses you tremendously this Christmas. I want you to know that it will get better, so please don’t give up!
God sees you struggling and He knows your pain. He knows. Let Go and give it all to God. He will help keep you safe.
Even if you already have peace because you aren’t struggling or suffering during this time of year, I challenge you to “step out of your comfort zone” and be a blessing to others.
When you find the time, please listen to “My Grown Up Christmas List” by Kelly Clarkson. This is actually what I want for the world.
“So here’s my lifelong wish. My grown up Christmas list. Not for myself, but for a world in need. No more lives torn apart. That wars would never start and time would heal all hearts. And everyone would have a friend. And right would always win. And love would never end. This is my grown up Christmas list.”
If you missed it last week, I explained the importance of choosing Joy every day of your life. You can read more about it here! Thank you so much for always taking the time to read my blog posts, it will always mean so much to me.
I hope this topic has inspired someone and gave them peace. God’s got this, don’t you worry!
