So right before 2018 ended, I was nominated for the Liebster award! As you can see, we’re already in 2019. That’s because I already had two weeks of blog posts scheduled and wasn’t sure where this one should go! So there’s that!
I was nominated by my kind blogger friend, The Eclectic Contrarian! Liebster in German means “sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.” Thank you so much for thinking of me!
Here’s how it works:
• Create a new blog post on your blog thanking the person that nominated you, link to their blog and put in a graphic of the award.
• Answer the questions that were provided, and then share some facts about yourself.
• Create a new set of your own questions for others to answer.
• Nominate 5-11 others and share your blog post with them so they can accept their awards
I’ve been asked the following:
-What’s a topic you love and don’t love to write about?
I love writing about different struggles and insecurities people may have because I know everyone can relate to it. I am always open to sharing things about my life since there are other individuals who may or are currently going through the same situation as me. I don’t think there is a topic that I don’t love writing about!
-Who and what influences you to write?
Not only God influences me to write, but just with knowing that there is someone out there who is broken and may need to read my words that God put in my heart. That’s why I keep on writing. My subscribers also motivate me to keep my blog up and running because people come up to me and tell me how much they enjoy reading my blog.
-What emotion gets your creative gears rolling?
Thinking about how blessed I am that God gave me another day to inspire someone and lift them up is what gets my creative gears rolling!
-Do you write from who you are? Or, who you wish you to be?
I always write from who I am, but there were times where I had to put myself in someone else’s shoes!
-Are you a city, country, foreign or even fantasy/sci-fi type of person?
I’m a country type of person and you will see why!
