Have you ever been in a situation where it is difficult to trust God or after the situation, you find yourself being mad at God because He destroyed your life forever? You may believe that you’re stuck in this situation forever, but you aren’t.
God places us in so many different situations throughout our lives; some may be easy and others are difficult. Why does He do this, you ask? God does this to see if we truly do trust Him with everything. I know, you’re probably questioning God and looking between all of the lines from the situation. I have learned that it’s not for us to worry about because the thing about God, He slowly reveals the answers to our questions. No, He doesn’t reveal them to you all at once!
Let me take a step back for one sec… I love the meaning behind Psalm 56 from the Bible. Psalm 56 is about running away from enemies and fighting this difficult battle. The enemy tries to twist your words, they are always against you and watch your every move. This so-called enemy could be the voice inside your head, the situation you are currently going through, or people in your daily life. Think about it. I love the next part of Psalms 56:8:
“You have recorded my troubles. You have kept a list of my tears. Aren’t they in your records?”
God knows what you are going through; He knows your pain and He counts every single tear you shed. I want you to know that He always has a purpose for your pain, even when you don’t understand why He is putting you through this. Trust me, I don’t have all of the answers as to why God lets horrible things happen to us. However, I do know that every battle we face, strengthens our faith and we trust God more than we did before. I also want you to know that it is acceptable to be mad at God. You probably feel crushed to the point you don’t understand why something has happened to you. You may still be grieving from it and it’s difficult for you to accept the fact it happened to you. God understands and He will love you no matter what. Yes, He still loves you when you’re mad at Him and contemplating whether or not you should trust Him again!
When God is constantly throwing things at us from left and right, I see it as a challenge because He knows what we’re capable of doing. He already knows what we’re going to do before we actually do it.
Isn’t it tough to trust God when you don’t see where this road will lead you and you wish you could see what the outcome of the situation to see if it is worth the fight or not?? It will be so worth it in the end because I truly believe God has something better in store for you. You need to be able to trust Him again. To do this, try going in a quiet room and pour your heart out to God; talk to Him about everything and tell Him your feelings. God is wanting to listen to you, He is waiting.
I challenge you to take that “leap of faith” and give it all to God. God loves you so much and He never meant to hurt you. When you are faced with another heart-wrenching situation, are you going to trust God again? It is up to you.
God always has a purpose for your pain.
