What comes to your mind when you think of the word, confidence?

Some may think about body image right away.

Some may think confidence is about not being insecure and loving the way you look.

Some may think it is about loving all your flaws.

Some may say it is about being happy.

Some may say that it’s about putting on an outfit that makes you feel like you can conquer the world and overall makes you feel amazing about yourself.

Some may even say confidence is knowing that your worth comes from God and you feel satisfied when you know that.

For some people, confidence is about not giving into the standards society puts in our heads: you must be skinny, have a full face of makeup, perfect teeth, you must be tall, and if you shop in the “plus-size” section, then you can’t wear what the other girls wear, you need to have a lot of followers on social media and if you don’t, you are nothing.

Honestly, why do we even listen to society? Why do we care so much? The thing that matters the most is that you feel confident in yourself and that you know you are beautiful, and you don’t need to change yourself just to fit-in.

Confidence is about being yourself no matter what anyone says.

Confidence is about loving yourself.

Confidence is about working on yourself for only you and not for anyone else.

Confidence is about not having to explain the reasons why you do things a certain way – sometimes, people will never understand your point of view and that’s okay.

When you think of confidence, have you ever thought about being confident in your life, and even future? Let me explain this…

Confidence can even occur with how we preceive our lives.

Do you tend to think negatively about your life?

Do you say things like, “I will never pass this test, it’s too difficult.” or “I don’t think I can do this anymore.”

Be honest, we have all been there.

When you say things like that in your life, it means that you don’t have faith in your future. You shouldn’t be talking down on your life like that because your thoughts do influence your life.

You don’t want to put that negative energy out there because what happens then is that those negative things you tell yourself can possibly happen.

That is why we need to be confident in our lives, as well as being confident in yourself.

Your thoughts shape your life.

Be postive.

Know that you can do anything you put your mind to

Lastly, Be confidently you.

But this is exactly it! When you know you’re in His will and He’s your Lord, nothing else matters!
