Have you ever felt like you haven’t been yourself lately or that you haven’t felt like yourself?

Have you been in a stage in your life where you want to get close to God again, but you are so afraid of what might happen? Let me explain. Something has happened in your life and you don’t know what is going on or why it has happened. You stray away from God, but you know He is still with you through every step of the way; you think you’re not worthy of God’s love for you. You stop doing the things you love and are excited about. You even stop going to events because everything exhausts you. You feel like everything you do is just a routine and there is nothing new ever going on in your life.

Have you ever experienced those things before?

I have and I have been going through all of that.

October is coming to a close and there hasn’t been a weekend where I was at a church. This isn’t something to be proud of or brag about.

Even though I haven’t been to church, it doesn’t mean that I have stopped talking to God. It’s just that with all of this health stuff I have been going through, I’m trying to find myself again who isn’t exhausted with being around people or talking to people, has this fire burning in her heart, and is so excited to go to church. I remember the times last year where I wanted to go to church every single weekend and I didn’t want to miss because it was like me saying thank you to God for saving me from the car accident I was in.

Now, I’m going through this battle of trying to trust God through the unknown and trusting that He knows what He is doing. Then again, I feel like I have drifted from Him because I want to know exactly what is going on with me, but I don’t have those answers right now.

Then, part of me trusts God that everything is going to be okay and that He will give me the strength to face whatever it is. There are times where God has shown me how strong I really am and it truly amazes me.

I believe we don’t see how far we have come until God reveals it to us and we start seeing our strength once we have climbed up that huge mountain. Then, we start seeing our strength and we begin to be so proud of ourselves for what we went through!

But, why don’t we see our strength when we’re currently battling something? Why can’t we tell ourselves, “I am strong and I will get through this with God by my side.” ?

If we talk to ourselves like that and truly believe that we will get through this, you will begin to see how strong you are, even before the battle ends. You will see your strength during the battle instead of only seeing it at the very end!

I believe when we do go through hardships in our lives, we start finding ourselves again and become closer to God than we were before. There is a catch: these hardships changes us as an individual, so afterwards, we’re not the same person we once were; we’re a better version of who we were. This is where God comes in and creates the version of who we have always been meant to be – we have blossomed!

If you’re trying to find yourself again, I want to tell you that things will get better for you and don’t give up. I know you’re strong and you’re so much stronger than you think. Trust the process and trust God through it all. It’s not your time to bloom just yet, but it will be soon!

We all have something we’re going through that God has asked us to do that no one will ever know about. We shouldn’t judge anyone, especially their actions, the words they say, the items they own. We shouldn’t judge anyone. period. We don’t know what someone is going through and it’s not our job to decide or find out what is going on in their life. Maybe this person doesn’t want to talk about it or explain it to you. Life is tough. Let’s be kind everywhere we go.

When you find the time, please listen to “God Only Knows” by For KING & COUNTRY.

You keep a cover over every single secret
So afraid if someone saw them they would leave
But somebody, somebody, somebody sees you
Somebody, somebody will never leave you

God only knows what you’ve been through
God only knows what they say about you
God only knows how it’s killing you
But there’s a kind of love that God only knows
God only knows what you’ve been through
God only knows what they say about you
God only knows the real you
There’s a kind of love that God only knows

I’m honestly so excited for this and it’s something that I worked so hard on during every single weekend of October – I thought about this idea in September, so I didn’t have this in mind at all! So remember how there was a survey of two designs that I wanted y’all to vote on a few weeks ago? Well, y’all wanted both of the designs and that is what we have! When you order anything off of Live Your Faith or purchase one of the Let There Be Peace designs, all of the proceeds will go to the Giving Tree – I will explain the meaning of the Let There Be Peace and the significance of what a Giving Tree as we progress into November! For now, you can go to this link because I made a separate page that explains all of this in greater detail. Plus, I even have what some of the products look like on that page too and you can order yours NOW!
