For this Kylie’s Corner, I’m going to do something a little bit different! There won’t be a quote or Bible verse to start the blog post off because I’m going to attempt to do some poetry – I’m free styling it!
Last week, in one of my classes, we learned about what being a globalized citizen meant and how we could become one. Then, we were put in groups and we had to come up with a poem about what a globalized citizen looked like to us.
This was our template:
I think…
I see…
I hear…
I smell…
I feel in my heart…
I have my hand doing…
I am going…
I believe…
I was doing some thinking and I thought about creating my own poem that goes with this template. This lesson reminded me of you guys because so many of you view the Kylie’s Corner & More blog from all over the world, it’s honestly so incredible! We’re one family, even though we’re in different places in the world.

Here is mine:
I think we can all make a difference if we come together as one
I see everyone wanting to belong
I hear people’s voices
I smell peace, equality, and freedom
I feel in my heart that we all belong to someone who loves us so much – God
I have my hand doing by speaking for others who are too afraid to speak up for themselves
I am going to fight for what is right
I believe we are all one world and we need compassion towards one another. We need to be more understanding and be grateful for each day that God blesses us with
We need to fight for each other
When we do this, we’re going to make this world a much better place
What does being a globalized citizen mean to you? Let me know in the comments of this blog post!

When you find the time, please listen to “Amen” by Micah Tyler.
When I think
About where I would have been without You
I’m so glad
It’s a place I never have to be
Even if I tried I couldn’t count the ways
Not enough words for me to ever say
Just how good, how good You are to me
How could I hide this joy inside of me
Amazing grace, oh Lord, how can it be
Every day of my life I want the world to see
I can’t get over what You’ve done for me
You got me singing like
Amen
Amen
Amen
Oh Amen
What You did
Has given me a hope forever
What You do
Has shown me you will never leave

While the idea of a global citizen sounds good, it’s a little deceiving in that it demands worldliness of citizens.
There’s only one unity and that’s in Christ.

I get what you’re saying, I liked the lesson about it because we do all live on the same Earth and we should all get along. When I say we need to come together as one, I mean that we need to not be against each other. You’re right, there is unity in Christ.

I’m making you mad. Even though I’m not trying to, I don’t want you to start avoiding me or thinking bad of me.

I’m not mad and I won’t do those things. You will always be my brother that I never got to have!
