During this time, it might be difficult for you to find light in this darkness we are in. You might feel anxious because of the thought of not going anywhere and how you have to stay in one place.
You might also be scared of the unknown and you wonder for how long this is all going to go on. When will things go back to normal?? How will I be able to put food on the table for my children because of this?? What is going to happen afterwards?? Will the Seniors be able to have their graduation ceremony that they have worked so hard for to this special day??
There are probably so many questions going on inside your mind right now.
I know I have said this before, but we can’t keep living in fear. We need to trust God through all of this.
God is showing us that we really don’t need the things the world offers us – we can live without going to the movies, mall, sports (NBA) amongst other things. Take your mind off of everything by spending this time with your family and find a new hobby you enjoy.
I know it might be dark now, but the light is coming. I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but there will be light soon. We need to keep the faith and we will get through this together.
This is also the time to focus on your mental health and make it a priority. Write down your thoughts, do some yoga, actually get ready for the day, do things that make you happy. Do whatever it is to keep your mind from always thinking about what is going to happen – that will only stress you out and will lower your immune system.
If you need some hope that everything is going to be ok, I started this Pinterest Board called, Light In The Darkness. Click on the images down below and it will lead you to my Pinterest Board. I have been making these graphics every night – I read a devotional and afterwards, I write whatever comes to my mind. I encourage you to follow the Light In The Darkness Pinterest board and I hope it helps you to have faith instead of constantly thinking the worse of things. We will get through this together!
I added a new page to this blog and I encourage all of you to check it out! For those of you who are new here, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in December of 2019. I have been documenting everything that I have been through and experienced – from discussing my symptoms before I knew what was wrong, all the way to what I am doing now to help my body. My goal is to balance my hormones naturally without taking birth control. I want to give other women with PCOS hope that birth control isn’t the only option. All of the details about My PCOS journey Pinterest board can be found here.
Thank you so much for stopping by on the Kylie’s Corner & More blog! If you would like to, you can purchase your personalized, signed copy of Kylie’s Corner and a complimentary bookmark I designed, here! Kylie’s Corner is a devotional for anyone who is in High School and up – you can read more about Kylie’s Corner. I talk about beauty in God’s eyes, society, anxiety, and so much more in the Kylie’s Corner book. If God has someone on your heart that you feel the need to give this inspiring book to, please listen to Him. The individual may need to hear the words God put in my heart at the time when I wrote the Kylie’s Corners that are in this book.
I still have copies of Kylie’s Corner available!
