This list are some of the things people worry about.

The stress and all the worrying are both tremendously high for this year in 2020.

We have all experienced it at one point this year.

This year has been a STRUGGLE for all of us!

There is a song that reminds me of everything I have been through in my personal life so far this year and the things we have been through together as an entire nation and globally.

The first time I heard the song, Sparrows by Cory Asbury was in my car while I was heading back home from student teaching. As I listened to the lyrics of the song, I bawled my eyes out… it was that type of crying where the lyrics really speak to your soul and remind you of something you have either been through or your currently going through.

You take good care of me
You know what I need before I even ask a thing
And You hold me in Your hands
With a kindness that never ends
I’m carried in Your love, no matter what the future brings
Yeah, You take good care of me

These lyrics spoke the most to me and gave me so much peace. It reminded me that no matter what happens, God will always take good care of me.

No matter what happens in your life, God will always take good care of you.

This year has been so unpredictable like, no one ever saw any of this coming. There have been so many things that life has thrown at us and most of it has been things that we have absolutely no control over.

You don’t need to worry about tomorrow because God already has everything figured out for you. You need to keep going no matter what situation you are in because what you are going through and feeling are only temporary. You might be feeling nervous, doubting yourself, or have anxiety or depression. These feelings will be turned into joy very soon. I know it might not make sense right now, but God is doing something in you that will change you forever. All of this is part of His plan for you.

God will keep you safe.

He has you in his palms of His hands.

He knows what you’re going through.

The sun’s not worried about the winter

‘Cause soon it will pass

The light’s not thinking about the darkness

Or the shadow it cast

A heart that’s planted in forgiveness

Doesn’t dwell in the past

So why should I be?

These are the next lyrics to Sparrows by Cory Asbury. I love how he referenced the seasons, light and darkness, and not dwelling in the past.

What you have been going through is just a season that will pass and your life won’t be like this forever; you won’t be worrying about whatever situation you are in, let’s say in five years because you will overcome whatever it is. Yes, you will overcome it, so don’t you dare say you won’t because you will!

When we dwell in the past, it means we aren’t living in the present and focusing on the 24 hours we have in front of us. Worrying about what happened in the past and even in the future, we really aren’t soaking in everything up on where we are at right now. That’s the thing with society. In the past, we have wanted something so bad, but when we are finally at that point in the present, we start focusing on something else that we want in the future. We aren’t really satisfied on where we are at in the present. We don’t soak it all in and be thankful for where we are at because at one point, we wanted to be right where we are, but now we are focusing on something else that hasn’t even happened yet.

I pray you found peace through this blog post and know that God will take care of you no matter what happens.

When you find the time, please listen to “Sparrows” by Cory Asbury.

The sun’s not worried about the winter
‘Cause soon it will pass
The light’s not thinking about the darkness
Or the shadow it cast
A heart that’s planted in forgiveness
Doesn’t dwell in the past
So why should I be?

‘Cause You take good care of me
You take good care of me
You know what I need before I even ask a thing
And You hold me in Your hands
With a kindness that never ends
I’m carried in Your love, no matter what the future brings
Yeah, You take good care of me

I know there must be more
But I can’t get past Your kindness
I know there’s got to be more
But I can’t get past Your goodness
I know there must be more
But I can’t get past Your kindness
I know there’s got to be more
But I can’t get past Your goodness

For those of you who are new here, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in December of 2019. I have been documenting everything that I have been through and experienced – from discussing my symptoms before I knew what was wrong, all the way to what I am doing now to help my body. My goal is to balance my hormones naturally without taking birth control. I want to give other women with PCOS hope that birth control isn’t the only option. All of the details about My PCOS journey Pinterest board can be found here.
